XU1A will be reactivated
from 5th to 17th December 2012 by Zorro, JH1AJT

 

 

FGC (Foundation for Global Children) will make another DX-pedition to the Kingdom of Cambodia (XU) to support a vocational
 training center for persons with disabilities, especially tragic landmine victims. The center teaches skills such as repairing radio, TV
and motorcycles so that they can become an active member of society and can be self-supported. This DX-pedition will be also some
of the 1998 XU1A members’ reunion.

NOTE:

Due to the Water Festival activities from 27th to 29th November in Cambodia, we may have some delays to clear the customs
of our equipment shipped beforehand. However, we will bring one set including antennas with us to start our operation as scheduled.
